Palavanchi, Shirley Ann, 73, of Carver, passed away on January 28, 2019 at Beth Israel Deaconess after a lengthy illness. She was born in Plymouth, MA, the daughter of the late Louise and Clyde Reid. She was the wife of the late Louis “Skip” Palavanchi.

Shirley worked as a nurses assistant for over 17 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved going to the beach.

Shirley leaves behind her daughter, Tracey Taormina of Plymouth. She was the loving “Mimi” to her two granddaughters, Nicole and Natalie, both of Plymouth. She also leaves behind her sister Gloria Martin of Onset. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, George, Wally, Diane Olsen and Patricia Tassinari. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street. A private burial was held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
