Obituary for Roger Roessel

Roessel, Roger, 79, of Plymouth, passed away December 25th, at home surrounded by family. He was born in Lawrence, MA son of the late Palma(Zaniboni) and Arno Roessel. He was the husband of Janice (Furtado) Roessel.

Roger grew up in Plymouth, MA. He fished the waters of Plymouth Harbor for his entire life. He worked as an Auto Body technician and drove a school bus for the town of Plymouth.

Roger loved boats, corvettes, model airplane, weight lifting, his wife's cooking and his late black cat, Critter.

In addition to his wife of 33 years Janice, he also leaves behind his children, the late Richard Ricardo, Robin Vivona, Patricia and John Rego, several Grandchildren, Nicole and Michael Clark, Corey Rego and Haley, Nicholas Vivona, Kayla Vivona and Kaitlynn Fischer and great Granddaughter Madison Manns. He also leaves behind his sister, Paula Martin and her late husband, Richard, as well as several close friends.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 28th from 4-7 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Plymouth County Cemetery.
