Obituary for Gerald M Farrar
Gerald Farrar of Carver passed away at home on October 8, 2019 after a brave battle with cancer. He was 64 years old.
Gerry is survived by his wife, Andrea and three stepchildren, AndrewShepherd of New Bedford, Jenna Shepherd of Boston and Jacqui Morris and her husband, Sean of Coventry Rhode Island. Three surviving grandchildren, Liam, Aiden and Violet loved their Papa and will miss him very much.
Gerry was born and raised in Norwell. His parents, Martha and Lloyd pre-deceased him. He is also survived and lovingly remembered by his siblings, Elizabeth Benedict of Carver, Mary Dunn of Carver, Lloyd Farrar of Weymouth and George Farrar of Carver, their spouses and children. Many friends and coworkers are sad about his passing, but especially his best friends and fellow mischief makers, Renee and Jesse.
Gerry loved golf and hunting. He and his wife traveled to many parts of the country gem hunting. All who knew him spoke of his friendly and helpful nature. Be at peace, Gerry. We love you.
