Judith Morgan Bruce of Plymouth, originally from Braintree, passed away peacefully on January 21st with her daughter and son at her side. She spent most of her life as a devoted mother to her two children, Jennifer Richards of Bourne and Matthew Bruce of Bournedale. She was survived by her two grandchildren Taylor Richards and William Bruce, son in-law Robert Richards and daughter-in-law Emma Bruce. Her husband, Ronald Jeremy Bruce, preceded her death in 2009. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a loyal friend. She was a long-time resident of Marshfield, residing there for over 35 years. For 20 of those years she was employed at the local Rockland Federal Credit Union. Her life was one of many personal sacrifices, yet was enriched by great love, loyalty, and by the adoration of her children, family, and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 27th between 4-7pm at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will begin on Monday, January 28th at 10am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 165 Main Street, Buzzards Bay and completed at the Vine Hills Cemetery, 102 Samoset Street, Plymouth.

I didn't know Judie very well, but I know the children she brought into the world and raised them to be beautiful people. May GOD bless you in Heaven, Judie, for all the devotion you gave to raising your children who are a true blessing to the world and of which you were rightly so proud.

I am so sorry for your loss. I would like to give you a message of hope. Death is an enemy of ours because God never intended for humans to get sick and die. He promises that very soon death and pain will be no more. (Rev.21:3,4)Jesus also promised that he will resurrect our dear loved ones to a better world with no more suffering. (John5:28,29)I hope this gives you comfort.
