Charles Francis Geary, age 54,of Plymouth, formerly of Rockland, unexpectedly passed away peacefully on Friday April 13th ,2018 at Brigham And Woman's Hospital in Boston. Charles was born on March 5, 1964 to the late Joseph T. Geary III and M. Charlene (Dawson) Geary. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Antoinette T. (Sweeney) Geary, and his children, Rebecca L. Geary and Charles J. Geary. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Patricia A. Sweeney of Marshfield and his farther-in-law Jerome T. Sweeney of Plympton. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Kristen R. Bryson and her husband Mark Bryson of Kingston. He is also survived by his siblings Donna Geary Morton, of Davie FL, Joseph T. Geary IV of Tarpon Springs FL, Paula K Kernen, of Plymouth MA, Laura Geary Halpin, of Plymouth MA, and also many nieces and nephews: Casey L. Morton, of Davie FL, . Dillan A. Halpin of Plymouth MA, .Haylee M. Morton of Davie FL, . Shanlea N. Kernen of Plymouth MA, Adrian T. Halpin of Plymouth MA, . Charlene M. Kernen of Plymouth MA, James J.G. Kernen of Plymouth MA, and Anthony Bryson & Mark Bryson Jr. of Kingston MA.
He lived in Rockland for 22 years and is a graduate of Rockland High School class of 1982. Then he moved to Plymouth in 1986. He is a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 17 of Boston Ma. and served as a Tin Knocker, President, Executive Board Member, and Business Agent. Charlie also participated in the South Boston St. Patrick's Day parade as a "Tin Man". He was a long time member of the Defenders Drum and Bugle Corp. from 1977-1982, and then joined the Alumni Defenders Drum and Bugle Corp. from 2007-2015. He was also a member of the North Star Drum and Bugle Corp. from 2016-2018.
He loved his cars, especially his Monte Carlo, Corvette and his father's "41" Chevy pickup. He was also an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics & the New England Patriots
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday April 18th at Bartlett Funeral Home 338 Court Street Plymouth Ma. from 4pm-8pm. A Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish at 803 State Rd Manomet, MA, on Thursday April 19th at 10:00 am.
